I am Erwin, 54 years of age, married to Ingrid and 3 children Jordi, Lars and Sanne.

 

This is my story:

I was a child of 9 years old and I slept on a dark ceiling with only one small window. I remember one night I woke up seeing a tremendous intense Light I have never seen and yet not seen again. I really had no clue what it was, but I remember it as if it happened yesterday.

 

All my life I was restless, doing things with no peace in my mind, impulsive and without any control. Married, divorced and met my present wife.

She is the one who told me to be me, but I had no idea who was me ?

She showed me a safe environment which I never had before, but could not deal with this environment. It was a very tough period for her, but she never let me down. She believed in me.

 

I was really tired of being restless so after talking many times to psychologists I decided to investigate myself, I studied Hinduism, Buddism and Taoism. Taoism was the one that I liked the most. So I started to do meditation, breathing excercises and organ energy movements.

Within 3 months I was in peace in my mind completely.

 

I meditated in the morning and in the evening sitting on a chair in my bedroom. Then after the 3 months I saw a person spreading his arms towards me. Every morning and evening 3 weeks in a row. I decided to surrender and fell into this persons arms. The next day the same person with his arms in a normal position but next to him a mother with me as a baby in her arms. I recognized myself. This lasted 3 days and on the fourth day I got a really really urgent need to start reading the Bible.

 

I never read the Bible before. I only visited the church being an obligation at Christmas as a child. I did not understand a word when I started but one thing was certain:

 

God called me to serve Him 40 years after seeing the Light as a child of 9 years of age. The Bible speaks to me more and more every day. By praying we have the most intimate relationship with our Father through Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit we are unable to understand God, although it is impossible to understand completely. 

 

A reborn Christian is a new human being, never having the desire to return into the previous non- reborn state.

 

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound , they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
